Terms of Use
By using Famile you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short.
1. The service
Famile provides a private space where members of one family share photos, notes, messages, location and reminders. It is currently offered as a private beta, free of charge, and may change or be discontinued with reasonable notice.
2. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep access to that email address secure; anyone who controls it can sign in as you. You can revoke all sessions from Settings.
3. Your content
You own what you upload. You grant us only the rights needed to store it and show it to the members of your family space. You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload, including photos of other people, and for respecting the privacy of family members, especially children.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Famile to harass anyone, to store unlawful content, or to attempt to access another family's space. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Family admins
The person who creates a family space is its admin and can invite and remove members, promote other admins, and delete photos or comments in the space. Admins cannot read members' personal notes.
6. Availability and liability
We work to keep Famile available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" during the beta. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses or for loss of data; please keep copies of photos that matter to you.
7. Ending the relationship
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate the service or your access for breach of these terms.
